How does playing equipment become significant to a child? Toys have a role of a primary mentor in our childhood. We all have gone through that phase when momma becomes too busy in the household and we start to get into that phase of indulging in the world of playing equipment.

It might leave you a smile when you come across the stack of your long kept childhood toys, valuables and collectibles in the attic. Thousands of sepia tinted nostalgic frames, all flashing across your mind and you mesmerize how life has changed from a little world of fantasy to what we are seeing it for now.

Life those days were simple and precious. All it went in a span but the toys are still the same. They continue to nourish every little soul with joy and happiness. 

Speaking from a specific angle, these toys play a role of first mentor in everybody's life. It is quite intriguing to think how relatable they are, to shape us what we are now and what we became in life!

It's hard to commonly categorize our childhood playing equipment merely as toys. There are multiple categories which come under them that include beach toys, puzzles, construction kits, indoor and outdoor toys, stacking and cart toys, dolls, digitally interactive games or electronic toys , pebbles, miniature sets and ornaments, pebbles, etc. and the list is never ending.

Dolls- the sworn brother/ sister.

We all had that miniature doll with whom we had so much conversation for it speaks in return, as the magical inside voice of our own brain. We used to cuddle or share everything with it for the fact that it is a good listener always. 

The role of these dolls might be different according to the personalities of the kid. Most commonly the little girls are found to place these dolls in the same position of their own child whereas the boy kid sometimes makes him as a heroic figure, inspired from marvel and DC. 

Have you ever realized the fact that these doll toys were your own form of self expression, which made you more communicative and interactive with an alternative personality! We pampered and pondered our own minds and this is how dolls shaped our personalities.

Miniature toy sets

Miniature toy sets are tiny imitations of real-word objects. In a child’s little fantasy world, everything is so small that he/ she is not ready to perceive reality apart from his little adorable confinement. The interesting miniature stuff will make him more adaptable to those objects.

 It is interesting to watch how kids play with the miniature crockery sets or doctor kits, pretending they are grown up versions of the same designation. These toys will make us more acquainted with how the world works and what all we come across in our day to day lives.

Construction kits for the little Engineers

Let the little engineers figure out what to build. Construction kits help to get a grasp of how an architectural structure persists. Even though they might not consciously know the geometrical awareness they achieved through the construction kits, the crafting happens just out of the kid’s analogy to manipulate the surroundings to create what he wants.

Whenever something gets stuck in the kids mind, the thought is consistently trying to morph a similarity from his surroundings. Here the construction kits get assembled by those little hands to achieve the desired figure somewhat like what Michelangelo does!!

Puzzles for the answer seekers

Unlike construction toys, puzzles are more visually manipulative to solve. Puzzles have a specific constant ending result. The kid has to figure out what symmetry each piece has with the overall picture. It improves eye coordination, assembling skills, pattern matching and hand coordination. 

However, puzzles are more interesting and involve a kid into the attentive rearranging of the pieces to get what he wants at the end!
